| 1) You can monitor your daily traffic with the MRTG
(Multi-Router Traffic Grapher) which will show you your daily / weekly /
monthly / yearly traffic statistics 2) Setup an antivirus server or install anti-virus program and update them daily to make sure that no virus infection is the computer 3) Make sure that your users are not running traffic intensive programs such as Kaaza or downloading huge amount of traffic using the leaseline which might slow down the network. 4) If you are using your own mail server, make sure that no large amount of mails are send out especially during peak period. 5) Ensure that a firewall is installed on each computer to monitor the incoming and outgoing traffic for internet |
